NEW Delhi, Nov 11 : A joint security operation has led to the arrest of Irfan Ahmad Wagay, an imam from South Kashmir’s Shopian district, in connection with the ongoing Faridabad explosives case reported India Today.
The operation, conducted by Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) in coordination with Srinagar Police, resulted in the seizure of electronic devices from the suspect’s residence. Officials have identified Wagay as a significant figure in the investigation, with preliminary findings suggesting potential links to radicalization. A female family member has been detained for questioning, the officials added reported India Today.
