When the two-year-old daughter of a Kashmiri Muslim was in dire need of blood at Narayana Hospital Gurgaon, two Kashmiri Pandit youth chose humanity over religion for a noble cause.

Setting a perfect example of religious harmony and humanity, the Kashmiri Pandit duo donated blood after rushing towards the hospital and saved the life of a Kashmiri Muslim girl admitted at the hospital.

The daughter of a north Kashmir resident was in need of two points of blood at the hospital. The two Kashmiri Pandits named Sanjay Sapru and Sunil Kaul received the blood requirement notification online and within moments they rushed to the Narayana hospital in Gurgaon to donate blood for the two year old Sopore girl.

Mohit Bhan, a Kashmiri Pandit who is associated with mainstream political party PDP, took to microblogging site twitter and said that incidents like this prove that Kashmiris can never be separated from each other.

“North Kashmir resident was in dire need of blood at Narayana Hospital Gurgaon & the angels @SapruSanjay @SunilKaul_Sunny were just a call away. My Gratitude to you two. It’s people like you who will be pillars of union & inspiration. #Kashmiriyat,” Mohit wrote on twitter.

The act of Sapru Sanjay and Sunil Kaul earned praise on social media with netizens praising their sincere efforts towards saving the life of the minor girl.

“The example of humanity and brotherhood he has presented is commendable,” said a social media user in his post.

Another social media user said, “Grand gesture, the real value of serving humanity. God bless you.”
