JAMMU, Nov 23 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their meticulous investigation and swift response, which led to the dismantling of a pan-India terror network.
Presiding over a security review meeting in Jammu, LG Sinha outlined the administration’s comprehensive strategy. “Our 360-degree approach to counter-terrorism, involving massive crackdowns on terror financing, narco-terror links, Over Ground Workers (OGWs), and their sympathizers, is focused on dismantling the entire support structure for terrorists,” he stated.
“Our coordinated efforts will ensure the remnants of the terror ecosystem are completely wiped out from Jammu and Kashmir,” the Lieutenant Governor affirmed.
LG Sinha directed officials to maintain constant vigilance against emerging security challenges. He reiterated a policy of zero tolerance for terrorism and instructed them to take the strongest possible action against terror sympathizers, OGWs, and elements attempting to radicalize the youth.
Further, he ordered the intensification of intelligence-led operations against terrorists and called for concerted efforts to monitor digital platforms being exploited by terror outfits for radicalization and funding.
