Baramulla’s beloved Radio Jockey Samaniya Bhat was honored among the Women Achievers of Kashmir by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday in a function held in Srinagar.

Expressing her gratitude while talking to The Web Story, Samaniya said that this achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication.

She emphasized the importance of pursuing one’s passion and giving it their all, acknowledging that not everyone can achieve such feats. She encouraged girls to believe in themselves, work diligently, and surround themselves with supportive individuals who uplift and inspire them.

In a message, Samaniya stated, “To all the amazing girls out there, remember that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Don’t let anyone or any negative thoughts hold you back. Believe in yourself, work hard, and embrace your unique strengths. You have the power to make a difference and accomplish great things. Surround yourself with supportive people who uplift and inspire you. Together, let’s break barriers and show the world what we’re capable of. You got this!”

The ceremonial event took place at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar and was attended by distinguished military officials and civilian dignitaries. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha personally recognized and appreciated the contributions of these exceptional women, emphasizing the essence of ‘Nari Shakti’ or women’s empowerment.

Among those honored, Humaira Sayeed, Aabida War, Baseema Aijaz, and Snober Samandar from north Kashmir were recognized alongside Samaniya Bhat for their extraordinary contributions to society.

On the occasion total 25 women achivers across Kashmir valley were honoured.
