Assured Them of Uplifting Their Issues

Baramulla, Jan 21: Recently appointed Member of panel of community leaders of NCM at national level, Rouble Nagi, visited north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday, where she interacted with various minority groups.

During the meeting with several groups, including Kashmiri Pandits, Brahmins, Christians, and Sikh communities, prominent social activist Rouble Nagi patiently listened to their issues and sufferings.

On the occasion, she assured them that she would address all genuine issues for the upliftment of minority communities and work towards their better future.

Rouble Nagi expressed that it was truly rewarding to interact with minorities and listen to their concerns. Many of the issues they shared were related to their daily lives. However, she emphasized that there is a gap within the government setup that needs to be addressed, and she vowed to make every effort in addressing these issues.

She stated that numerous schemes are forthcoming for the people, but if these schemes are not implemented, they will not be beneficial. She pledged to play a crucial role in ensuring that these schemes reach every individual, especially the minority communities.

She said that although she has been working with minority groups for over 20 years, this is the first time she is actively engaged with the Sikh community. She assured them that she would not let them down in raising their issues and addressing their sufferings, as this community has consistently stood strong in Kashmir despite challenging situations.

She further added, stating that we are all Indians living in India, and it is our collective responsibility to work together, unify, and protect one another.

Meanwhile, Sikh youth leader Amanjeet Singh extended his gratitude to Rouble Nagi and thanked her for her willingness to listen attentively to their issues and sufferings.
