Apni party Bandipora unit sees turmoil as VP resigns, district president reaffirms support

Bandipora, Aug 01: Soon after Apni party vice president Usman Majid announced his resignation, controversy erupted as the district president of Bandipora Apni party, Sayed Shafat Qazmi, said that his support is for the party and he has not resigned from the party.

Speaking with the media as per The Web Story/The Varmul Post Correspondent district president Bandipora Apni party, Sayed Shafat Qazmi, said that his support is for the party and he has not resigned from the party.

Earlier, in a copy shared by party officials, it was read that all units of the Apni Party in the region have collectively decided to resign from the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party. This mass resignation includes the departure of Vice President, Usman Majid.

“The decision to resign has been carefully considered and reflects a unified stance among the members of the Bandipora units. This collective action underscores a commitment to addressing the evolving political and social needs of Bandipora. The former members of the Apni Party Bandipora believe that this step is necessary to realign their efforts and strategies in a manner that better serves the best interests of the people of Bandipora,” the copy read.

The copy also read that the next course of action will be determined in the coming days after thorough and deliberate consideration with the existing cadre and well-wishers. This period of reflection and consultation will ensure that any future steps are taken with the best interests of the people of Bandipora. The goal is to forge a path that is more attuned to the aspirations and expectations of the people of Bandipora.
