Srinagar, Oct 07: Former Chief Minister and Vice President of the National Conference, Omar Abdullah, reacted to Er Rashid’s statement, saying that the BJP wants to extend central rule in Jammu and Kashmir if they are not in a position to form a government.
Taking to the micro-blogging site X, Omar Abdullah as per The Web Story/The Varmul Post reacted to Parliament Member Er Rashid, stating, “The man goes to Delhi for 24 hours and comes back to play straight into the hands of the BJP. The BJP would like nothing more than to extend central rule in J&K if they aren’t in a position to form a government.”
Earlier in the day, Awami Itehad Party chief and North Kashmir Member of Parliament, Er Sheikh Abdur Rashid, suggested that the political parties and independents who emerge victorious tomorrow should not form a government in J&K until the Government of India restores statehood. He stated that the AIP would extend full support if all parties unite behind this advice.
