Pune : The Chinar YUVA Centre, Baramulla established by the 19 Infantry Division under the 19 Artillery Brigade, has been honored with the prestigious Best CSR Award for 2024/2025 at the ASM CSR Summit held in Pune on 21 Jan 2025. This award recognizes the center’s exceptional efforts in empowering communities through skill development.

Funded by the ONGC and implemented by the Aseem Foundation, the Chinar Yuva Centre has successfully equipped thousands of youth in the Jhelum Valley with essential skills for sustainable livelihoods. The initiative focuses on bridging the gap between education and employment by offering diverse training in technical trades, digital literacy, entrepreneurship and soft skills. The award was presented by esteemed dignitaries and marks a significant milestone in Chinar YUVA’s mission to uplift marginalized communities. Through its impactful programs, the center has fostered self-reliance and contributed to national growth by addressing unemployment and social inequality.

Aseem Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to driving social change through vocational training, education, and community-based programs to foster economic independence and well-being. These organisations with support of Indian Army bringing change in the valley by transforming the youth.
