The league tournament featured 24 teams from various districts, with SRM Welkin not only topping the table but also showcasing extraordinary skills on the field. The players captured the hearts of the audience with their professional play.

In the final match, SRM Welkin faced JK Sports Council. Both teams played exceptionally well, going neck-and-neck from the start and winning the admiration of the audience. The match ended in a tie; however, SRM’s superior skills ultimately led them to victory in the tournament.

Speaking with The Web Story/The Varmul Post, players expressed their gratitude, stating, “We are at a loss for words to thank SRM for giving us the opportunity to prove our skills. This is the second consecutive year we have dominated and won the Reliance Foundation Youth Cup.”

They added, “Our management and coaches have worked incredibly hard with us. We made sure to give our best on the field and, Alhamdulillah, we are winners once again.”

The players also expressed their gratitude to Chairman Haji Anaytullah and Chairperson Baseema Aiajz for their continuous efforts in promoting student participation in sports activities while maintaining a focus on providing quality education.

Notably, SRM Welkin also claimed victory in the under-19 female category in last year’s cup.

In response to this win, several parents shared their pride and gratitude, stating, “This is a proud moment for the entire SRM family and a moment of joy for all of Sopore. Once again, SRM Welkin has achieved victory in the Reliance Foundation Youth Cup.
