Urges Parents to Keep Vigil on Their Children

Suhail Rather

Bandipora, 18 Nov: Dysp Headquarters Bandipora, Mohammad Latief Khan, on Monday said that tackling the growing drug menace is the top priority for the Bandipora Police.

He said that drug addiction is a severe issue that is harming the youth and it’s a problem that requires everyone’s attention, especially that of parents.

He said that the Bandipora Police is committed to combat this issue, but they need the active support of the local community. “Without the public’s help, it’s impossible to fully address this problem,” he said.

He further said that it could be anyone’s child affected by this menace, and that’s why it’s important to work together to eliminate it. He urged parents to be more vigilant and monitor their children to prevent them from falling into this trap.

Dysp Hqrs Bandipora mentioned that he had met with local civil society members, committees, traders’ bodies, and transporters to discuss the drug issue in detail.

He said they would come up with a plan in collaboration with local representatives to intensify efforts against drug trafficking and abuse.

He urged the public to provide useful information to the police, as it plays a key role in preventing crime.

He concluded by appealing to the people of Bandipora to support the police’s efforts and help make the district drug-free.
