In a major bilateral action, U.S. authorities have deported 200 Indian nationals. Among those being repatriated are fugitive Anmol Bishnoi, two individuals with active warrants in Punjab, and 197 others determined to be illegal migrants.
An official confirmed that the deportation flight is en route and will arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday.
Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is wanted in multiple cases across India, most prominently the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique and the April 2024 firing outside actor Salman Khan’s residence.
