Gulmarg, Dec 11: Jubin Nautiyal, an Indian playback singer, songwriter, music composer, and music director, expressed his admiration for Jammu and Kashmir, stating, “I feel very happy coming to Kashmir; the amount of love I receive from the people here is overwhelming.”
During his family trip to the world-famous tourist destination of Gulmarg, where he interacted with the media, Nautiyal mentioned, “I visited Kashmir three years ago, and there was quite a bit of snow in Gulmarg back then. However, today I am here with my family, and fortunately, it was snowing on the day I arrived.”
Regarding the future of Kashmir, the Bollywood singer stated that “a lot of talent is going to emerge from this region in the coming years.” He shared that he lives in Bombay and has heard of many talented artists from Kashmir who are doing excellent work. He noted, “In this age of the internet, talent does not hide; it naturally shines through. Everything that has come out of the valleys of Kashmir has been nothing short of a Kohinoor.”
Jubin Nautiyal further expressed his desire to learn Kashmiri music, saying, “If given the opportunity, I would love to do something significant for this music on a larger platform.”
In a message to the youth of Kashmir, he encouraged them by saying, “Keep your spirits high; the entire country is watching you. The whole nation wants to see and understand Kashmir; they want to experience its beauty. To the youth here, I send my love and greetings. It is the youth who can carry the essence of Kashmir forward. Ups and downs are part of life, but it is the youth who will illuminate the future of Kashmir.” (Kashmir Despatch)
