Srinagar, September 22: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in his first public address following his release from four years of house detention, highlights the significance of prioritizing peaceful solutions over war in resolving conflicts.
Addressing a massive gathering as per The Web Story Correspondent, at the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, Umar Farooq, in line with Prime Minister Modi’s stance on the Ukraine situation, highlighted the importance of seeking peaceful resolutions rather than resorting to war. The leader echoed the sentiment that a solution should be pursued through peaceful means, emphasizing the need to prioritize dialogue and understanding over violence in Kashmir.
He emphasized the need for Kashmiri Pandits to return to the valley, as their absence leaves a void in the cultural fabric of the region, making it incomplete.
Expressing his admiration for the youth of Kashmir, the released leader also called upon them to maintain faith and patience amidst challenging circumstances.
Recognizing their resilience, he encouraged the younger generation to have hope for a better future and to actively participate in the quest for a positive and prosperous situation in the valley.
