Srinagar, December 5: The National Conference re-elected Dr Farooq Abdullah as its unopposed president on Monday.
The party presidential polls were held today at the party head office Nawa-e-Subh in Srinagar and the decision was announced at 117th birth anniversary of Late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
Dr Farooq had earlier clarified he will not contest the presidential polls, however, the delegates across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh re-elected him again.
