Sopore, Jan 30 ; Superintendent Police Sopore Divya D-IPS has emphasized that her main priority will be making the town crime and drug-free, with a particular focus on crimes against women.
In a recent interaction with the media, as per The Web Story/The Varmul Post, she stated that ensuring the welfare of the people is of utmost importance, and the police force will be dedicated to providing women with a peaceful environment, free from crime and other social evils.
Pertinently, On assuming the charge on Monday she held introductory meeting with Police officers of the Police District and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by the people of Sopore.
She also stressed the need for a team work and has directed every officer to have their doors open always for the general public to have easy access to reach out with their problems.
