Sopore: People’s Democratic Party General Secretary Mehboob Beigh said on Sunday that our party supports those who unite people, unlike the BJP, who are dividing people in the country.
Speaking at a convention in Sopore as per The Web Story, he said that the BJP is working to divide people on the basis of religion.
The PDP leader said that the BJP in Kashmir is working with a proxy, but this will hardly affect the policy of the PDP because our party is working for the people.
He said the PDP supports Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s initiative, Bharat Jado.
He said this is the initiative in which he is joining people and not dividing them, and our party will actively participate in this initiative in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said we will not remain silent until our special status is restored. He said our voices are for the people and we will highlight and raise our voices until we do not get back whatever we have been snatched.
He also lashed out at the Prime Minister and Home Minister for ignoring the sufferings of people and said both should learn from their senior leaders, Vajpayee and Advani.
The PDP leader said both PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah should have a dialogue with Pakistan and the people of Kashmir then only this long pending issue ll be resolved.
He said the tag his party is getting by helping the BJP’s enter here is wrong information, as it was people who made their entry into the country who voted for them and made them successful.
He said that as long as the BJP will not talk with Pakistan, then things will always be like hell.
This convention was joined by a massive gathering of people under the leadership of PDP youth leader Irfan Ali.
