Baramulla : Uzair Nisar, a resident of Baramulla in north Kashmir, has developed a passion for skiing at a young age.

Despite not receiving any formal training, Nisar has skied on different phases of the famous health resort, Gulmarg.

Nisar, who is an employee at IGNOU, said that he started going on treks at an early age and developed a passion for them.

He discovered skiing at the age of 14 and has since skied almost half of Gulmarg, including some chair cars and the first phase of the gondola.

“Nothing is impossible if you have the desire to pursue your dreams,” Nisar told The Web Story.

He also urged young people to take advantage of the beautiful and adventurous destination that is Kashmir and to use their talents in the right direction, specifically in a direction that can represent the country.

He also advised them not to get involved in harmful activities that have no future.
