Eminent socio-political figure, Dr. Shenaz Ganai, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to contest the Lok Sabha election from Kashmir.

The Minister of Earth Sciences and Member of Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh, Kiren Rijiju, shared a video clip on social media showcasing Dr. Ganai’s appeal.

In the video clip, she expressed her sentiments, stating that if Prime Minister Modi contests the elections from Kashmir, opposition party candidates are likely to lose their security deposits.

This appeal comes amidst the festive atmosphere surrounding the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in the country.

Pertinently, Dr. Ganai, a former member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on February 12, 2024.
