As the stage is set for the Legends League in Kashmir, with the return of international cricket after 40 long years, the anticipation among cricketers to play on Kashmiri soil is palpable.

During an ongoing Legends League match in Jammu, Harbhajan Singh, the captain of the Manipal Tigers, expressed his enthusiasm in the post-match ceremony. As per The Web Story/The Varmul Post stated, “Kashmir is a place where everyone wants to go. We travel to Switzerland and other destinations, but having the opportunity to come to Kashmir and play cricket is a significant deal.”

Harbhajan emphasized that this is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Kashmir to host them and added, “We are incredibly excited to go there and showcase good cricket, as long as the weather permits.”

The final leg of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament will be played at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, running from October 9 to October 16.

Spectators can expect to see global icons such as Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Upul Tharanga, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, and Ian Bell in action.
