Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Part President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Thursday said that if the former chief minister Omar Abdullah has realized his past mistakes, he shouldn’t be cornered and criticized.
Bukhari, while reacting to the NC vice president’s statement over the annulment of the Public Safety Act (PSA), as per The Web Story said if he has decided to end the PSA, then he shouldn’t be criticized because at least he gathered the courage to speak out.
The Apni Party President also advised the political parties to work for the development of Jammu and Kashmir if they desired to do righteous things.
Pertinently, the former chief minister and National Conference (NC) vice president, Omar Abdullah, said on Tuesday that the Center was selective in keeping certain anti-people laws in J&K.
“The Public Safety Act (PSA) is only in J&K and nowhere else in the country. When NC comes to power, we will remove PSA. We will keep land and jobs in the community. We will safeguard our identity,” Omar said while addressing a party convention.
