Srinagar, Oct 25 : Choudhary Ramzan, the winning candidate from the National Conference (NC), has declared his victory a triumph for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, characterizing it as a public rejection of the 2019 decision to abrogate Article 370.

Speaking exclusively with The Web Story/ The Varmul Post, Choudhary Ramzan stated, “This is a resounding victory for the National Conference, for which we are profoundly grateful. Legislators, assembly members, independents, and members from the Congress, PDP, AIP, and AAP voted for us today, securing the win for NC candidates by a significant margin. We are extremely thankful for their support.”

He emphasized, “This is the National Conference’s victory. It is a victory for Dr. Farooq Abdullah and for Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.”

Ramzan asserted that the win demonstrates the people’s repudiation of the decision made by the BJP regarding Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.
