SRINAGAR, OCT 30: Mateena Rajput, an actor and social media influencer from the northern Kupwara district of Kashmir, has announced her decision to leave the entertainment industry.
The announcement was made via a heartfelt post on her official Instagram account. In it, Rajput expressed profound gratitude for her career, stating, “Alhamdulillah for every journey that shaped me, and every chapter that taught me who I am.” She confirmed her departure, writing, “Today, with peace in my heart, I’ve decided to step away from acting. From this moment on, I have no connection with the entertainment industry.”
Reflecting on her time in the industry, she acknowledged its positive impact, saying, “This path gave me countless lessons, memories, and experiences that I’ll forever be grateful for.” She explained that her decision was guided by faith, adding, “But sometimes, Allah shows us that not every path is meant to be walked forever. Some are only meant to guide us closer to Him.”
Elaborating on this spiritual reasoning, Rajput shared, “I believe when Allah closes one door, it’s because He’s preparing our heart for something better—something purer, something that brings true peace.”
Looking ahead, her message concluded on a note of optimism, stating her intent to “step into a new chapter of my life with gratitude, faith, and complete trust in Allah’s plan.” She added, “May He guide me to what brings peace to my soul and keep me steadfast on the right path.”
