Radio Mirchi 98.3 on Thursday held Mirchi Hotshots, Kashmir’s biggest influencer awards, and also culminated their month-long mystery box campaign.
The event was held at the Palm Spring hotel, with top digital creators, media fraternity, and students who won contests that were a part of the mystery box campaign in attendance. The unveiling of the mystery box kicked off the event, with mentalist and trick artist Azaan working his ways and letting the audience accurately guess the mystery, which turned out to be a young and talented radio jockey, Madeeha.
Madeeha will be hosting the evening show for 98.3 Mirchi, and with her typical Gen-Z personality, she is set to rock the airwaves of Kashmir. “I feel my generation is all about revolution and bringing about reforms, and that’s what drives me too. My focus has been to reignite our culture and try to revive our language,” said Madeeha. She believes it is the need of the hour to cultivate our tradition into the newer generations for them to take over and do so in a manner that preserves the basic essence of it.
The event further progressed into felicitating content creators in the valley, who have not only carved a niche for themselves but also created paths for others to follow. The winning names included renowned singers Mehmeet Syed and Waqar Khan, along with other big names like Dr. Rukhsaar Syed, Mir Tafazul, Muraad Beigh, Musaib Bhat, Farah Zaidee, Muneer Dar, Omar Rather, Syed Aqib, Rizza Alee, Faika Zargar, Muskan Khan, and Shazia Bhat.
The Mirchi team played several fun games with the influencers, which was followed by music performances by Mir Mehmood, Huzaif Nazar, Faisal Altaf, and instrumentalists Younis Majeed, Irshad Majeed, and Faisal Ahad.
