Srinagar, Jan 26 : Every citizen of the country eagerly awaits this day, counting down the moments until Republic Day arrives when they can proudly celebrate as Indians. However, few are aware of the crucial role played by our unsung heroes who protect our borders from the enemies of the nation, ensuring that every Indian can live and thrive in happiness.

Recognize the real heroes who live each day as if it were Republic Day or Independence Day, dedicating themselves to the diligent protection and safeguarding of our nation.

These real heroes tirelessly stand guard at our borders, facing various threats to ensure the safety and security of our lives.

Speaking exclusively with The Web Story/The Varmul Post, a top army official stated, “Every day is like Republic Day for us. We are here for the security of the nation and for the protection of Kashmiris. We remain constantly alert to ensure that neighboring country do not get an opportunity to disrupt the peaceful environment of our beloved land of Hindustan.”

He added that our soldiers are vigilant along all the borders of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to protect and safeguard the happiness and well-being of the people from terrorists and enemies, particularly from Pakistan, who are always desperate to infiltrate and affect the peaceful atmosphere of the valley.

Another top Army official told The Web Story /The Varmul Post that army was always prepared to meet any challenge and will spare no effort in ensuring the integrity of national borders.

The official said “A very strict vigil and a robust technology enabled multi-tiered counter infiltration grid are being maintained, to thwart any attempts at infiltration. Ceasefire violations, infiltration bids or any other misadventure attempted by the adversary will be dealt with firmly,” he maintained.

He added that We are ever-ready to respond to any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo.

Pertinently, Indian Army jawans face dual challenges in the border areas. One from infiltrators across the border and the other due to the weather. But facing all this, they continue to patrol the LoC every single day for the protection of people.

Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), Jammu frontier, D K Boora earleir this year told The Web Story /The Varmul Post that the borders are completely secure as the BSF in coordination with sister agencies, including police, have taken all necessary counter-infiltration measures. I want to assure everyone that no such activity (infiltration of terrorists from across the border) will be allowed during the election process. He said the BSF is capable of dealing with any situation.

Meanwhile, Additional Director General (Western Command) of the Border Security Force (BSF) Satish S Khandare arrived in the Jammu frontier on a three-day tour on January 23, visiting forward areas in Kathua and Jammu districts, a force spokesperson said on Saturday.

He was briefed by field commanders on the prevailing security situation.

Addressing a Prahari Sammelan at the BSF’s Jammu frontier headquarters on Saturday, Khandare praised the troops for their dedication towards border duties and asked them to maintain effective border domination to prevent anti-national activities.

He visited the border areas in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district, where he was briefed on the operational aspects by the field commanders, the spokesperson said.

He also visited the Akhnoor border area of Jammu district, where he was briefed by the sector commander and battalion commandant about the force’s operational preparedness.

Khandare discussed critical aspects of border management, including the general security scenario and domination along the International Border, the spokesperson said.

He also interacted with the troops and appreciated them for performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
