Srinagar: Bollywood actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, during a recent stage show in Mumbai, shared his admiration for Kashmir, describing it as a ‘Jannat’ (paradise on earth) and urged his fans to visit the region.

He also stated that Kashmir is ‘in full control of our Fauji brothers (Indian army),’ and people must visit the place.

“I landed in Mumbai just yesterday after a trip to Kashmir,” said Diljit, addressing a crowd during an event in the city. He paused, looking around and asking, “Have you been to Kashmir?” The crowd, eager to hear more, shouted in excitement.

With a smile, Diljit responded, “Please go and visit Kashmir, it is truly a Jannat. Someone has rightly said it, and I admit it because I witnessed it myself. The beauty of the place is beyond words.”

The region is under the control of our Fauji brothers (Indian army), and it has been an incredible experience for me. Go to Kashmir, and see the beauty for yourself,” Diljit added.

The Punjabi sensation, currently on his ‘Dil-Luminati Tour,’ shared a series of photos on Instagram with the caption, “Alvida Kashmir, tonight Mumbai Dil-Luminati Tour Year 24.” In the pictures, Diljit is seen striking a pose with a young girl, visiting a Gurudwara, interacting with locals, and enjoying a cup of traditional Kashmiri kehwa.

Earlier, he shared a video of himself enjoying a peaceful shikara ride on Dal Lake, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, with a vendor offering steaming kehwa. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Dal Lake Star Mustaq Bhai Ka Kehwa & Adnan Bhai Ka Rabab.”

The tour, which previously covered cities in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, is now covering 12 cities across India, including Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Guwahati FREE PRESS KASHMIR reported.
