Baramulla : A man from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district came forward to share his unfortunate experience with a fake online BC gambling game. With a desire to protect others from falling into the same trap, he appealed to the community to be cautious of such scams.
According to The Web Story/The Varmul Post, the Baramulla man (name withheld) fell victim to one online gambling game, ‘BC’, losing around Rs 3.30 lakh in the process. He bravely stepped forward to share his story, hoping to prevent others from making the same mistake.
Speaking about his experience, the man admitted that he was initially introduced to the game by my friends. Initially, I started investing small amounts, earning some profit in return. But little did I know that this success would lead to an addiction and eventually result in losing my hard-earned money.
I was running a small kiryaan shop in Baramulla, and the Rs 3.30 lakh that I lost was my life savings.
He said As I began to lose money, I made the mistake of thinking that investing more could potentially help me recoup my losses. Sadly, this only caused my losses to accumulate further.
Deeply affected by his experience, the man emphasized the addictive nature of these online gambling games. He urged the younger generation to avoid falling into this trap and to be cautious with their precious money. He stressed that the allure of quick earnings often masks the true intentions of these fraudulent games.
