Jammu, Jan 28 : The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah on Tuesday stated that leading and working in the Union Territory is quite difficult.
Speaking at National news channel in Jammu as per The Web Story/The Varmul Post, Omar Abdullah mentioned, “I had served as Chief Minister earlier, when it was a state; it had its own distinct status under the law. Now we are a Union Territory, and managing command and executing work here presents its own challenges.”
He said that despite these challenges, efforts have been made to initiate a dialogue, emphasizing the importance of creating a connection between the people and their elected representatives, including honorable MLAs, ministers, and officials.
He noted that wherever possible, they have begun fulfilling the commitments made to the people, whether through assembly resolutions, cabinet resolutions, or decisions made in between.
