A 23-year-old journalism student from Kashmir has emerged as a leading force in preserving and promoting the unique culture of her homeland.
Shereen Namam Shafiee, a resident of Barzulla Srinagar, is currently pursuing her studies in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Islamic University of Science and Technology. However, her impact extends far beyond the academic realm, as she has immersed herself in the ancient traditions, art, and culture that have shaped Kashmir’s history for centuries.
Shereen’s journey as a cultural activist began during her time as the former chief speaker and writer at the Young India Foundation.
