Srinagar, Dec 16: Inspector General of Border Security Force Ashok Yadav said on Saturday that nearly 300 militants are camping across the border to “infiltrate” into Jammu and Kashmir.
On the sidelines of the Civic Action Program in Pulwama, a top Border Security Force (BSF) officer as per The Web Story said the security would foil any cross-border infiltration attempts.
He mentioned that the BSF, along with the Army, has taken control of vulnerable areas based on intelligence inputs.
Yadav also highlighted the strengthened connection between the security forces and the people of Kashmir in recent years, emphasizing the importance of cooperation for the successful implementation of developmental activities in the region.
He said the BSF has been actively involved in providing skills training to youth and women, aiming to enhance their financial independence
