The Association stated that the authorities have positively considered their request and issued the required orders, terming the decision as a timely intervention that has provided much-needed relief to the cadre and reinforced confidence among revenue officials in the administrative system.

AJKPA extended its sincere gratitude to the Chief Secretary, Secretary Revenue, Financial Commissioner (Revenue) and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, for their pragmatic and responsive approach towards resolving the issue.

The Association further expressed hope that the long-pending Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for Look-after Naib Tehsildars would also be convened and finalized at the earliest in the interest of the fraternity.
