Bandipora, Oct 23: Razdan Top, a high mountain pass connecting Gurez Valley with Bandipora district in north Kashmir, witnessed fresh snowfall on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told The Web Story/The Varmul Post that Razdan Pass, the gateway to the mountainous Gurez valley, received light snowfall overnight.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has predicted the possibility of brief spells of very light rain/light snow over the higher reaches of North Kashmir between October 23 and October 28.
In a post on X, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar stated that no significant weather events are expected until the end of October. Farmers are advised to continue harvesting and conducting other farm operations.
