Rauhan Malik to Represent India at Intervision 25 in Moscow

Srinagar, Sep 03: The voice that has already won hearts in Kashmir and across the world with his exceptional music—whether through composition, production, or performance—is now set to represent India at the Intervision 25 in Russia.
Rauhan Malik, a native of Achabal in Sopore, has already made his mark in the music world with his superb and melodious work.
His recent hit song “Ishaq,” which went viral across the globe and secured a top position on major music platforms.
The young musician is now set to represent India on a global stage at Russia’s Intervision 25 show, which will be held in Moscow.
Speaking exclusively with The Web Story/The Varmul Post, the young musician confirmed this development, stating, “I will represent India in Moscow at Intervision 25.” He said, “It’s a truly proud moment for me, not only to see this growth but to get a chance to represent my country on this stage.”

He added, “Nothing is impossible. However, one must never stop believing in oneself or putting in the effort. There may be hurdles, but hard work always paves the way.”
Rauhan said, “I am so blessed and thankful to Almighty Allah for all of this. It’s hard to believe, but there is always a shine and a rise for those who believe in themselves.”
Rauhan, a singer, producer, and composer, is deeply rooted in the musical culture of Jammu and Kashmir, yet his music resonates with listeners all over the world. Through a colourful blend of folk, rock, and pop, he conveys the history and spirit of his homeland in his songs.
His professional journey began in 2019 with the song “Baasta,” released under the label Stalwart Music Factory, of which he was a co-founder. He also worked as a composer and producer on the track “JHELUM,” which gained widespread popularity.
Notably, Intervision 2025 (Russian 2025) is an international song competition that is scheduled to take place at the Live Arena in Novoivanovskoye near the city of Moscow, Russia, on 20 September 2025.
The event is expected to feature representatives from countries primarily from BRICS, CIS, Latin American, and Middle Eastern states, each with a single entrant. Although it takes the name from the former Intervision Song Contest, and it was announced as a revival of it; it has a different organiser, format, and set of participating countries than the original contests; as well as from 2008’s Five Stars: Intervision.
