The Jammu-Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF) has been actively engaged in the fight against drug addiction in the Valley.

Through its various programs, the party has been reaching out to the local people to raise awareness about the devastating consequences of addiction for individuals, families, and communities.

The interplay of corruption, violence, and addiction is intrinsically playing a role in degrading the young population of the Valley, especially with the opioid crisis being particularly severe.

Therefore, the JKNPF is committed to its mission of raising awareness against addiction in the Valley and fighting the drug abuse collectively.

On the occasion of the Walkathon in different districts, the chief patron of JKNPF Shri Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of awareness in combating any menace.

He stated, “Drug addiction is a serious problem, and it can have devastating consequences for individuals, families, and communities. We need to come together to fight this menace collectively, and the JKNPF is committed to playing its part in this mission.”

Party president Shiekh Muzafar on this occasion, said, “JKNPF has planned such awareness Walkathons in different districts.

The Walkathon in North Kashmir, in Bandipora, saw a heartening participation by the locals.

Similarly, today’s Walkathon in South Kashmir, in Anantnag, also culminated successfully, led by the leaders of JKNPF.

People came forward and shared their challenges, which is a positive step towards overcoming this problem.

The JKNPF has pledged to continue its fight against addiction in the Valley through its various programs and initiatives.

It encourages people to come forward and support this cause to build a healthy and prosperous society.
