Srinagar, Feb 15 : National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, upon returning from Umrah, emphasized the significance of peace in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed hope that our neighbor country, Pakistan, would understand this. He further stated that numerous innocent lives have already been lost.
While addressing the media, Farooq Abdullah, as per The Web Story, reiterated his prayers for a peaceful Kashmir. He highlighted that a stable Pakistan is not only beneficial for Kashmir but for the entire nation of India. Conversely, an unstable neighboring country does not bode well for India.

National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah said that the NC has no intention of forming alliances prior to the polls and intends to pursue an independent electoral campaign.
When queried about the upcoming assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir, he revealed a new perspective, stating that it is anticipated that the elections will be conducted concurrently with the Lok Sabha polls.
