Today On October 19, Sarfaraz Khan made the most of his opportunity by racing to his maiden Test century on Day 4 of the 1st Test between India and New Zealand at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Having patiently awaited his chance, Sarfaraz did not disappoint. He played aggressive cricket, reaching his maiden ton in just 110 deliveries. Hitting 13 fours and 3 sixes, it was evident that the batter was enjoying his time on the field while making the most of his opportunity. Despite the challenges of a batting collapse in the earlier innings, Sarfaraz remained proactive, consistently searching for boundaries throughout his knock.
Sarfaraz Khan shared a brilliant 136-run partnership with Virat Kohli, helping to reduce New Zealand’s lead following India’s first-innings struggles.
Notably, this Mumbai cricketer married a woman from the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir last year. Khan also plays for the Delhi Capitals in the lucrative IPL.
