Chris Gayle, Aron Finch, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh Among Others Set to Feature in the League
Jammu : Great news for cricket fans in Jammu and Kashmir! Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Sarmad Hafeez, has announced that the renowned Legends Cricket League will be held in November at the Moulana Azad Cricket Stadium in Jammu.
This exciting event is expected to feature some legendary cricketers, including Chris Gayle, Virender Sehwag, Aron Finch, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh, among others.
To ensure the success of the league, the organizing committee and Sports Council team held a meeting in Jammu to discuss the necessary arrangements.
The J&K Sports Council had preliminary discussions with the organizing committee team, led by former international cricketer Nikhil Chopra, and the Delhi Cricket Association’s pitch curator, Ankit Dutta.
They expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and provided some suggestions for minor improvements.
Secretary Sports Council, Nuzhat Gull, mentioned that a checklist is being prepared to ensure a smooth conduct of the event. If all goes well, the M A Stadium may even host future international and national cricket events, establishing it as a regular venue.
