Sopore, June 09 : A 31-year-old man died of electrocution after coming into contact with a live wire in Zaingeer area of Sopore on Saturday night.
An official told The Web Story/ The Varmul Post that a 31-year-old man identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Gojree, son of Gh Mohammad Gojree of Harwan Bomai, by profession auto driver received an electric shock at his home during night hours, however he was immediately taken to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
A doctor at the hospital also confirmed this unfortunate news to The Web Story/The Varmul Post and stated that after completing the necessary legal formalities, the body has been handed over to the family for the last rites.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.
