Baramulla, Feb 03: The J&K Police flagged off a group of 65 students from District Baramulla, including PD Sopore, for a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour-2024 as a part of their Civic Action Program (CAP).
The students were accompanied by three police officers, who will act as caretakers during the tour.
An official told The Web Story/The Varmul Post that an impressive flag-off ceremony was organized at DPL Baramulla, where senior police officials including SSP Baramulla, Sh Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS and SP PD Sopore, Ms. Divya D-IPS, along with other officers, flagged off the enthusiastic group of students. The occasion was filled with exuberance and excitement.
He said SSP Baramulla on the occasion advise the students to make the most of this wonderful opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country. He encouraged them to imbibe the greatness of the nation and collect memories that will last a lifetime. The SSP also wished them a fun-filled, safe, and life-changing tour.
SP PD Sopore emphasized the importance of taking studies seriously for a better and successful future. She also highlighted the benefits of participating in sports activities as they help boost self-confidence, concentration, and overall physical and mental health. SP Sopore urged the students to make optimum use of their time and channelize their energy in the right direction.
The Bharat Darshan Tour is organized by the J&K Police, which has provided all the necessary facilities, including boarding and lodging, to and fro air tickets, and logistical support for the students. The tour will take the students to the cities of New Delhi and Mumbai, where they will stay in AC hotels and travel in AC coaches for accommodation and sightseeing. A knowledgeable guide will accompany the group to provide insights into the historical spots and their significance, making the trip educational and informative.
Parents and touring students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the initiative taken by J&K Police.
