Vows to Serve State’s Needy

Hafsa Mohiudin, a 30-year-old resident of Alsafa Colony in Rafiabad, has successfully cracked the prestigious Kashmir Administrative Examination on her second attempt.
Hafsa, who is the daughter of Gh Mohiuddin Khuroo, completed her basic schooling at IQRA Public School in Sopore and then completed her 11th and 12th grades at St. Joseph’s in non-medical stream. She then went on to earn her B.Tech degree in Electronics from Jammu MIET College.
As of 2022, Hafsa is working as an Assistant Registrar in the Cooperative Department in Rafiabad.
She attributes her success to the support of her husband and family, as well as her patience and dedication to her studies.
“I believe that no exam is tough until one has the patience to crack it,” said Hafsa in a chat with The Web Story.
She also expressed her desire to crack the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam in the future in order to serve the people of her state, particularly those below the poverty line.
Hafsa also noted that it is a positive sign to see more and more girls appearing on merit lists for such exams.
