Srinagar, Aug 20 : Rising Autoz, a new two-wheeler showroom offering premium brands like Aprilia and Vespa, was on Thursday inaugurated here with Apni Party president Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari hailing the venture as a significant step towards boosting employment and business in Kashmir.
The showroom, located at Karanagar, was unveiled by Mr Bukhari in the presence of Hotelier Club chairman Mushtaq Chaya as the special guest and SSP Traffic Srinagar Muhammad Aijaz Bhat as the guest of honour.
A galaxy of prominent personalities, including Syed Ashiq Bukhari, Editor-in-Chief of KNS Muhammad Aslam, and several senior journalists attended the inaugural function. Piaggio’s Networking Head Gaetano Pignataro, along with senior company officials, also graced the occasion.
Rising Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Ayaz Hafiz Gani, who is also the proprietor of Rising Autoz, welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their presence on the occasion.
The showroom will offer a wide range of two-wheelers, including Aprilia 125 and 175 models, besides the iconic Vespa and other Piaggio offerings, aimed at providing customers in the Valley access to stylish and premium mobility options under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bukhari described the launch as a “welcome development” and extended his congratulations to Mr Gani and his team.
“Rising Autoz is a welcome addition to the business landscape of Kashmir. Such ventures are important not only for providing people with quality products and services but also for creating employment opportunities for our youth,” Mr Bukhari said.
He emphasised that the growth of private enterprise and entrepreneurship was essential for strengthening the local economy and generating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Mr Chaya also welcomed the launch, describing it as a positive step towards expanding the automobile and mobility sector in the Valley. “Rising Autoz is a promising venture and I am confident that it will establish itself as a trusted name among customers,” he said.
SSP Traffic Srinagar Mr Bhat also extended his best wishes to the management and team of Rising Autoz on the occasion.
The management said the showroom would focus on providing customers a quality buying experience, a diverse product range, and professional after-sales support, marking the beginning of a new journey in Kashmir’s two-wheeler market.
