Seven Houses Damaged in Overnight Fire Incident in Kupwara

Kupwara, Oct 23 : Seven residential houses were damaged in an overnight fire mishap in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district officials said.

An official told The Web Story/The Varmul Post that a massive fire broke out on Tuesday night in Behromdari area of Hatmathpora Kupwara. The fire resulted in the destruction of seven residential houses.

As per local sources the Fire and Emergency Services’ arrived at the site with men and machinery and launched a rescue operation with assistance of police and locals. After hours of relentless efforts, the fire was controlled, not unless it gutted at least seven residential houses.

Meanwhile, a police official told The Web Story/The Varmul Post that the cause of the fire is currently unknown. However, a case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
