Many journalists in Kashmir have made their mark through their commitment and perseverance, achieving great milestones and receiving praise for their impactful work.
One such journalist from Kashmir’s northern region is Shahid Imran, the Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Crown. His efforts consistently reach a remarkable level in digital media, and he is always seen connecting with the common masses to raise their genuine issues, becoming a voice for the voiceless.
Shahid was honored with the International Youth Icon Award in Kathmandu, Nepal, for his outstanding contributions to journalism in India.
The prestigious award was presented by the Kashyana Foundation, which works towards drug de-addiction in India. The ceremony was attended by delegates from over 30 countries, including Nepal’s Vice President Ram Sahai Yadav, cabinet ministers, parliament members, and other officials.
