Sopore : To encourage locals to donate surplus winter clothing so that the less fortunate may pick it up in an effort to combat the severe winters, a Sopore girl has taken a noble initiative by setting up a “Wall of Kindness” here in Sopore town of north Kashmir.
Qurat-ul-Ain, a non-medical student, has already won the hearts of residents of Sopore in north Kashmir by her attempts to bring about a change.
Qurat, who selected a different vocation at a young age and occasionally faces criticism from others, never looks back and continues to shatter social taboos by setting an example in a world where men predominate.
Qurat has been observed organising events, promoting sports-related activities, and assisting society in a variety of helpful ways in places like Sopore.
This Sopore girl creates yet another innovative activity—a “Wall of Kindness” for the town’s needy residents—to maintain the momentum of her humanitarian work during this bitter winter.

In a chat with The Web Story, Qurat said that she has been working with a number of NGOs since her college days with the goal of assisting the community, particularly the young people who are engaged in drug use and other illicit activities.
She claimed that during the COVID pandemic, as an NSS volunteer in college, she had the chance to benefit society by helping those in need..
The Sopore girl claimed that she frequently urged people, particularly young people, to work together in order to affect change locally.
In a message she said, “Let us fight with love, faith, and courage so that our next generation will not be ruined, especially by drugs.”
While reacting to “Neki Ki Deewar“, she claimed that because of the extreme cold, a sizable portion of the population in Kashmir suffers during the winter. They are unable to do their jobs well, and more importantly, their children suffer as a result. Therefore, the goal of this endeavor is to offer some respite to the homeless and poor who lack the resources to shield themselves from the elements.
She claimed that the concept instills a spirit of generosity, charity in the general public.
