The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests: Fr. Santosh Athickal, Financial Administrator of the Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar; Mr. Parvez Samuel Kaul, former Principal and Director of Tyndale Biscoe School, Srinagar; and Mrs. Joyce Kaul, former Headmistress of Mallinson Girls’ School and Kashmir Valley School.

School Chairperson Mrs. Anna Mary and Director Mr. Anthony Ignatius warmly welcomed the esteemed guests, expressing their gratitude through the presentation of potted plants. The subsequent traditional lamp lighting ceremony, performed by the esteemed dignitaries, invoked divine blessings upon the auspicious occasion.

Principal Mrs. Sheetal Anthony formally introduced the program. The young talents of the primary wing then took center stage, captivating the audience with their mesmerizing performances. From graceful dance numbers to melodious carols, the children showcased their creativity and artistic abilities.

The special guests delivered inspiring addresses, celebrating the students’ exceptional performances and urging them to spread love and joy. They commended the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, acknowledging St. Mary’s Infant Convent School as a beacon of quality education in Jammu.

Santa Claus then burst onto the scene, spreading holiday cheer as he distributed gifts and posed for pictures with excited children. The highlight of the program was the grand finale featuring a beautifully adorned crib, symbolizing the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Christmas celebration at SMICS was a resounding success, inspiring young minds and uplifting spirits. The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, marking the end of a joyful and memorable two-day occasion.
