Reshuffles J&K Leadership, Appoints New Chiefs

Srinagar, Sep 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced new office bearers for its Jammu & Kashmir unit, including spokespersons and leaders for district, morcha (front), and cell committees.

According to a party list, a copy of which is with The Web Story/The Varmul Post, the appointments were made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President, Sh. Sat Sharma CA, in consultation with BJP National President Sh. J.P. Nadda and BJP National General Secretary & Prabhari for Jammu & Kashmir, Sh. Tarun Chugh.

The list includes names for the positions of party spokespersons, District Prabharis & Seh-Prabharis, Morcha Prabharis & Seh-Prabharis, and Cell convenors and co-convenors.

Notably, among the appointments is Manzoor Bhat, who has been named a spokesperson for J&K category. This appointment comes approximately one year after he was expelled from the party.
