An encounter has started between militants and security forces at the Manj Marg area of Shopian in South Kashmir this morning.
An official told The Web Story that, The firefight started after a joint team of police and Army’s 1 RR got input about the presence of militants in that area.
After security forces cordoned off the area, militants hiding there started firing drawing retaliation from the security forces.
