Srinagar, Oct 05 : As the assembly election results loom on October 8, the air is thick with chaos and speculation with various exit polls circulating across news channels and social media platforms. This situation has further fueled tensions in the political arena, marking the beginning of the countdown to result day.
Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the National Conference, has dismissed the significance of these exit polls, labeling them merely as “a time pass.” He emphasized that the true numbers will only be revealed on October 8, the official announcement day for the assembly election results.
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Omar Abdullah as per The Web Story/The Varmul Post stated, “I’m amazed channels are bothering with exit polls, especially after the fiasco of the recent general elections. I’m ignoring all the noise on channels, social media, WhatsApp, etc., because the only numbers that matter will be revealed on the 8th of October. The rest is just time pass.”
