Bandipora Writer Grabs International Recognition with Honorary PHD from American University

The young author of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district Sharik Ahmad Mir, has been awarded a Doctoral Honorary Award through a USA University. His books are available in 150 countries, and he has received recognition for his exceptional work in the field of psychology. 

Sharik Ahmad Mir’s extraordinary achievements have been acknowledged by the Academics Council Committee of Cambridge Digital University. With the authority invested in them, the Council has conferred upon Sharik Ahmad Mir the prestigious award of PhD (Hons) in Psychology. 

Sharik Ahmad Mir’s journey towards writing was borne out of a personal struggle, as he found solace in channelling his pain and reflections into the written word.

His books are SelfHelp books His book introduces an integrative approach to healing, blending traditional and cutting-edge therapeutic methods to offer readers a comprehensive toolkit to combat their dependencies.

Sharik’s books continues to inspire and guide individuals on their paths to recovery, Mir’s story serves as a testament to the indomitable human spirit and the ability to triumph over adversity through the written word.

Apart from writing and researching, I am a voracious reader of non-fiction and I find solace in gaining knowledge. I believe that sharing knowledge is vital to preserving one’s legacy even after death,” he said.

Mir’s aspirations extend beyond the realm of writing as he aims to contribute to society’s well-being by working towards alleviating poverty and tackling corruption through public service.

“Despite facing numerous obstacles in my path of self-learning, I have a belief that anyone can learn anything, even without a mentor,” he said.

My pain and reflections motivated me to use my writing skills to purge my mind of its burdens,” he said.

Sharik’s journey from a small town in Kashmir to becoming a globally recognized author and earned Honorary award PHD (hons) in psychology showcases the transformative power of self-expression and the determination to overcome personal challenges.
