Kashmiri Musicians to Shine in the Upcoming Season of Iconic Coke Studio Show

The highly anticipated comeback season of the iconic musical show, Coke Studio, will feature the talents of Kashmiri artists. After seven years of absence, the Indian franchise of the show will bring together over 50 artists from all over the country to celebrate the roots of India through 10 tracks.

Muhammad Muneem, also known as Alif, will collaborate with Noor Muhammad for one of the episodes. Muneem confirmed that he has written and composed a song for the upcoming season and that the song will feature several artists, including Noor Mohammad, Ashima Mahajan, Zartasha Zainab, Shivani Matyal, Dr Samiyah Nabi, and Rumuz-e-Bekhudi.

The upcoming season as per The Web Story will also include big names from the country’s music industry, such as Armaan Malik, Diljit Dosanjh, Jasleen Royal, and hip-hop stars Seedhe Maut and Prabhdeep. The season will put the spotlight on regional Indian instruments, including Rabaab, which Noor Mohammad has collaborated with the renowned music director duo Saleem-Suleman in the song ‘Nazneen.’

The Coke Studio season is set to premiere on 7 February and will offer a musical extravaganza for fans of all genres. The show promises to showcase the diversity of Indian music and bring together artists from different backgrounds and cultures to create a celebration of music.
