Tangmarg, Nov 19: A major fire broke out at the Divisional Forest Office (DFO) in Tangmarg on Wednesday, causing extensive damage to the building, according to officials.
Reports indicate the blaze erupted within the DFO building and spread rapidly. Fire and Emergency Services teams were dispatched immediately upon receiving the alert. However, upon their arrival, the fire had already engulfed most of the structure. Officials stated the building was severely damaged before the flames could be fully contained.
The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Police have registered the incident and have initiated a formal inquiry to determine its origin reported news agency KNS.
